The Conference of the German Physical Association e.V. (DPG) was held from April 2 to 5, 2019 in Regensburg. Several companies used this platform to present their fields of work and career opportunities to the participants.
SRC was represented by Dr. Benjamin Botermann and Jochen Schumacher. Both of them willingly informed the many interested students from Germany and abroad about the various career opportunities at SRC. Benjamin Botermann’s lecture “From the laboratory to a secure transaction – from physicist to SRC expert” provided more detailed insights into individual topics. The prospective physicists followed the diverse career opportunities in information security with great interest. The interest of the students was then reflected in the numerous discussions, which were subsequently held at the SRC information stand.
“Cashless payment transactions are an unknown terrain for many people, although everyone uses them almost every day,” Jochen Schumacher noted. This makes it increasingly important for students to be able to inform themselves about the exciting topics of an information security company and its complex fields of activity at the conference of the German Physical Association.
