Gerd Cimiotti
Gerd Cimiotti has been Managing Director of SRC Security Research & Consulting GmbH since 2001. Under his leadership, SRC has developed into a leading IT security service provider in Europe. With more than 120 employees, SRC offers a comprehensive IT security and audit program that supports customers worldwide. Prior to joining SRC, Mr. Cimiotti was responsible for the development of card-based payment systems at the Federal Association of German Cooperative Banks for over 10 years. Mr. Cimiotti brings to SRC extensive experience in the development and implementation of card-based payment systems and the establishment of international standardization initiatives in the field of electronic payment systems.
Markus Schierack
Markus Schierack has been appointed to the Management Board of SRC as of August 1, 2024. He brings with him many years of experience in the strategic development and transformation of payment transactions as well as extensive expertise in corporate finance and regulation. Before joining SRC, he was Managing Director of the Bafin-regulated payment transaction institute Pagateq/VÖB-ZVD Processing GmbH for 8 years and had held various positions within the Deutsche Bank Group since 2009. Among other things, he actively supported various strategic M&A transformation projects in the bank’s private client business from 2009 to 2014 in Group Development at Deutsche Postbank AG and from 2014 at Deutsche Bank.
