SRC Security Research Consulting GmbH is a management consultancy specializing in information security for the German banking industry with headquarters in Bonn. We use our many years of in-depth expertise to develop and implement secure IT systems, helping our customers to make their processes more secure and their business more successful. We are looking for professionals (m/f/d) in consulting for API technologies and identity services in banking to join our team in Bonn in the field of chip cards and electronic payment transactions as soon as possible .
Your tasks
The introduction of new account-based payment methods in conjunction with the European Commission’s current regulatory initiatives on the use of instant payments, the establishment of open banking and identity services (eIDAS 2.0) will lead to a further increase in the variety of electronic payment methods. Standardized APIs will become a central instrument for the technical integration of banking services into other applications and regulated identity services will in future contribute to customers possibly also using authentication instruments that can be used across applications. This poses new challenges for the banking industry — from the harmonization and standardization of APIs to the integration of these new technologies into their own services and infrastructures. The focus of the advertised position is to advise and support leading associations of the German banking industry and financial services companies in the development of technical standards and their use for open banking applications and identity services. Key aspects here are the optimization, digitalization and security of business processes. Increasingly, the focus is also on European projects.
Your profile
- Completed studies in computer science, mathematics or physics, — High analytical and learning ability, — High creativity in finding pragmatic solutions for complex problems, — Good technical understanding, — Good ability to present complex relationships and procedures in documents and presentations in an understandable way, — Confident appearance and very good written and spoken communication skills, — Very good knowledge of English, — Willingness to travel and a high degree of personal responsibility and initiative. In addition, knowledge in one or more of the following areas should be available: — eIDAS and Open Banking regulation, — REST API technologies, — Wallet technologies.
