electronic health card
If a patient shows several clinical pictures, then often several doctors treat with a variety of different medications. The interactions and possible side effects, as well as the risks arising from the use of various medications, cannot be overlooked by the individual treating doctor. So it was obvious to consolidate all information in the patient’s interest with the help of the electronic health card.
In addition to improving patients’ rights, the costs and efficiency of administrative communication are to be optimised and administrative procedures are to be modernised. From the beginning of the project, the scope of services and functions of the electronic health card has been subject to constant discussion.
The distributed system landscape of the electronic health card consists of the complex interaction of hardware and software, front and backend systems, chip cards, terminals and organisational concepts.
SRC accompanied the project electronic health card from the specification, the design of the public key infrastructure and the evaluation of the approved terminals to the evaluation of the backend systems.
