Compact training for additional quali­fi­cation in test-proce­dures compe­tence
for § 8a (3) BSIG

KRITIS operators must prove to the BSI the imple­men­tation of technical and organ­i­sa­tional precau­tions in accor­dance with the state of the art for their industry to avoid IT malfunc­tions / failures. The provision of proof requires an audit by a qualified auditor who is autho­rized to conduct audits in accor­dance with § 8a (3) of the BSI Act (BSIG).

The two-day workshop designed by the BSI, which is conducted by SRC consul­tants with extensive experience in the field of auditing, is aimed at all those who wish to conduct audits in accor­dance with §8a (3) of the BSI Act. In addition, KRITIS operators can prepare themselves specif­i­cally for the oblig­atory exami­nation according to §8a (3) BSIG by partic­i­pating in the training and will receive infor­mation about the test funda­mentals and the verifi­cation process, among other things.

The training is designed as an active workshop with various practical exercises and consists of the following four modules:

• Modul 1: Intro­duction of the BSI
• Modul 2: Critical Infra­struc­tures and the IT Security Act (IT-SiG)
• Modul 3: The BSI Critical Regulation (BSI-KritisV) and its scope
• Modul 4: The basis of testing and the verifi­cation process according to § 8a (3) BSIG

The training concludes with a final exam. Passing the test is the basis for demon­strating the additional test procedure competence.

With your regis­tration you will receive an infor­mation package to prepare yourself for the compact training. The training is designed to require prepa­ration based on the infor­mation package.

Thanks to many years of experience, SRC has extensive expertise in the field of infor­mation security management systems. SRC develops concepts, safety require­ments, technical interface speci­fi­ca­tions and prepares risk analyses for customers from all indus­tries.
