SRC Security Research & Consulting GmbH is a competence center of the German banking industry for IT security, auditing and certification. We support companies and international organizations in assessing and ensuring the highest IT security standards. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Compliance Officer (m/f/d) with expertise in IT security

Your tasks

In this responsible position, you will actively shape our compliance and risk management. As a team player, you will work closely with internal departments, management, and external bodies. You will independently manage key technical areas and develop existing structures and processes together with your colleagues.

Your key responsibilities

Further development of compliance, internal audit, and operational risk management
Planning and conducting internal audits as well as supporting external audits and accreditations
Maintenance and development of the documented organizational framework (DOF), internal guidelines, and policies
Establishment, maintenance, and monitoring of an operational risk management system (OpRisk)
Coordination of certification and scheme requirements, for example according to relevant ISO standards
Ensuring compliance with regulatory, normative, and security-related requirements
Implementation and development of sanctions and embargo screening
Contributing to the development of the compliance management system (CMS) and a holistic GRC approach
Close and solution-oriented collaboration with internal departments, management, and external bodies such as DAkkS
Contributing your own ideas for continuous improvement of processes and internal control systems

Your profile

Completed degree in business, law, IT security, auditing, or risk management, or comparable qualification
Professional experience in compliance, audit, certification, or risk management, ideally in an accredited or regulated company
Basic knowledge of IT security to assess security-related requirements together with the responsible departments
Knowledge of relevant standards and risk management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 17065 or ISO/IEC 27001, is an advantage
Strong team spirit and enthusiasm for advancing topics together with different departments
Cooperative, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
Analytical thinking as well as a structured and self-directed approach
Strong communication skills, diplomatic tact, and a confident demeanor
Willingness to share knowledge, support colleagues, and develop sustainable solutions together
Interest in taking on additional technical or personnel responsibility in the future
Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
