Many training courses are currently being held in person or, since the coronavirus pandemic, virtually. Due to the changes in working methods, it is increasingly difficult to ensure that all employees take part in the mandatory training courses. For this reason, in future those training courses where this is technically possible and sensible will be offered via computer-based training.
The aim of this project is to design and implement a flexible learning platform for computer-based training (CBT) on the basis of an OpenSours learning platform. In addition, a training course is to be implemented as a prototype in this learning platform.
The following subtasks are to be completed as examples:
Create functional specification The functional specification must first summarize detailed technical and functional requirements for the system.
Create a concept The system must be designed based on the specifications. The concept must show how the system requirements can be met.
Product selection The learning platform is selected based on the results of the requirements specification and the concept. Although the focus will be on open source solutions, commercial learning platforms will also be considered.
Implementation of technical prototype Based on the product selection, a prototype for the learning platform is built and a test training course is implemented. These should be used to demonstrate that the requirements defined in the specifications can be implemented.
Implementation of prototype training The prototype learning platform is used to implement a specific training course as a proof of concept.
