SRC Security Research & Consulting GmbH is a competence center of the German banking industry for IT security, auditing and certification. We support companies and international organizations in assessing and ensuring the highest IT security standards. We are looking for an experienced and committed Team Leader Compliance (m/f/d) to join our team.

Your tasks

In this responsible role, you will take on the technical and disciplinary management of the Compliance team and be responsible for the further development and implementation of an integrated compliance and operational risk management system.

Professional responsibility

  • Management and further development of the Compliance, Internal Audit and Operational Risk Management department.
  • Planning and conducting internal audits as well as supporting external audits and accreditations.
  • Further development and maintenance of the written regulations (SFO), internal guidelines and policies.
  • Establishment, maintenance and monitoring of an operational risk management system (OpRisk) to identify, assess and manage operational risks.
  • Central and proactive coordination of scheme requirements in the context of certifications according to e.g. **ISO **as well as other relevant standards and accreditations.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, normative and safety-related requirements (including sanctions/embargoes)
  • Close cooperation with internal departments, management and external stakeholders, in particular with the DAkkS and other supervisory and certification bodies.

Management responsibility

  • Management, motivation and further development of an interdisciplinary team in the area of compliance and risk management.
  • Resource planning, target definition and promotion of a corporate culture of integrity and risk awareness.
  • Responsibility for the professional and personal development of team members.

Strategic tasks

  • Further development of the compliance management system (CMS) and integration of a holistic governance, risk and compliance approach (GRC).
  • Supporting the Executive Board with the risk strategy and reporting on compliance and risk developments.
  • Driving force for continuous improvement, process optimization and internal control systems.
  • Sanctions and embargo screening

Your profile

  • Completed studies in the field of economics, law, IT security, auditing, risk management or comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in a compliance, audit, certification or risk management environment, ideally in an accredited or regulated organization.
  • Knowledge in Risk management frameworks or ISO regulations (e.g. 17065 ISO 27001), or other relevant standards would be an advantage.
  • At least basic knowledge of general IT security topics, so that you can also discuss the implementation of security-relevant requirements in cooperation with internal departments and IT administration.
  • Strong analytical skills, highly results-oriented and structured way of working.
  • Initial management experience and competence in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication skills, diplomatic skills and a confident manner in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business fluent in German and good written and spoken English.
