Conformity tests according to “TR”

The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) develops and publishes so-called Technical Guidelines after determining a need for national security or public interest, with the aim of disseminating appropriate IT security standards. Technical guidelines can, for example, contain general specifications or recommendations for the use of cryptographic standards in IT products or, for specific IT products, criteria and methods for conformity tests with regard to interoperability and the IT security requirements to be implemented. For the latter, the BSI offers the possibility of proving the conformity of a product/system with a technical guideline through certification.

Our experience

SRC is an inspection body for conformity tests according to the Technical Guideline, which is currently recognized by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for the following areas of application:

• BSI TR-03109-5: Minimum requirements for components in the HAN of the SMGW
• BSI TR-03144: eHealth – Proof of conformity for card products of card generation G2
• BSI TR-03153 / TR-03153-TS: Technical security equipment for electronic recording systems
• BSI TR-03154: e-Health connector “Test specification for the specialized module NFDM”
• BSI TR-03155: e-Health Connector “Test specification for the AMTS specialist module”
• BSI TR-03157: e-Health Connector “Test specification for the specialized module ePA”
• BSI TR-03158: Applications of the insured person in the telematics infrastructure

SRC has many years of experience in the conformity testing of eHealth components (card products and connector modules), smart meter gateways and technical security equipment and is constantly striving to expand its own repertoire.

Our services

SRC offers conformity tests for the above-mentioned scopes and accompanies you through the entire process from the submission of an “Application for Certification according to Technical Guidelines” to the completion of the procedure with the aim of obtaining a certificate from the BSI.
