SRC pools cutting-edge expertise and uses it to support our customers in the development and implementation of secure systems. We are looking for a Windows and Client Administrator (m/f/d).

Your tasks

In this role, you will work with our IT team to ensure that our systems remain reliable, secure and ready for use by our colleagues at all times. This includes above all

Administration of our client environment (Windows 10/11) including rollout, troubleshooting and regular maintenance.
Support for our Windows server landscape – from installation and configuration to updates and patches.
Ensuring smooth software and patch management: Inventory, driver maintenance, imaging, software catalog and deployment are part of your daily routine.
Administration of the Active Directory: structure management, device and user management, group policies and rights concepts.
Support for Microsoft 365 topics such as Entra ID, Enterprise Apps or Azure configurations.
Ticket processing for users – pragmatic, solution-oriented and sometimes with a twinkle in the eye.

Your profile

A completed apprenticeship or several years of comparable professional experience in the IT infrastructure sector.

We are looking for someone who understands their trade, likes to take on responsibility and is keen to contribute to a modern IT environment. What you should bring to the table:

Very good knowledge of software distribution and patch/imaging processes (e.g. inventory, driver management).
Extensive experience in Windows server administration (installation, configuration, patching).
Routine in client administration (rollout, maintenance, 1st/2nd level troubleshooting) Good knowledge of Active Directory including structure, group policies, rights management and DNS/DHCP/File Services.
Experience with Microsoft 365, especially Entra ID, Azure and Enterprise Apps.
Basic understanding of PGP (how it works, key management) and secure working with ticket systems.
Solid Office skills and willingness to document (e.g. in OneNote).
Experience in working with Exchange, in particular mailboxes, resource management, groups and mailflow.
